Aquatic Environment Program

Our Aquatic Environment Program is a strategically focused suite of scientific and consultative activities which aims to:

  • understand our impact on the aquatic environment so that we can address high priority environmental issues
  • tackle issues such as environmental flows, fish migration, threatened species, waterway health and interactions with other users
  • achieve community-accepted and environmentally sustainable outcomes
  • ensure sustainable management of the waterways that are affected by our operations.

The contents of the program vary each year according to priorities, but its major components broadly include:

  • Water Management Reviews
  • Waterway Health Monitoring Program
  • specific project work.
